teaching music these past few years has brought on a whole new appreciation I have for the art.
I forgot my camera to last night's recital, so I'm posting a picture from a previous recital I hosted for my students. Last night was a small and intimate holiday/family recital for one student in particular. She was a bit nervous, but she performed beautifully. It took all the focus and concentration I had to not sob right there on the spot. I'm extremely blessed and grateful to be her instructor.

ReplyDeleteBoth of my kids play piano! We never had recitals though. Your photo reminded me of piano practicing at home :) Great moment!

I really want my kids to learn to play music. I reeaaaallly reaaaaallly want them to, and I want to too. I am thinking it might be cool if we all learned together...
